The site of Tikal was discovered and explored during a famous expedition mounted by Prof. Kramer and Kiesling. A decade later, a parchment reveals the possible existence of a lost temple near the first site. The two scientists then began to imagine a new expedition to Central America. Following their meeting with Prof. Braff and Prof. Pauchon, they embark on a new journey to Tikal!
Play as one of the four professors and try to accumulate more points than your competitors. A game lasts two rounds, each consisting of several rounds of play. In your turn, you start by discovering new clues or objects at one of the six sites around the board, then you explore a new room with your teacher pawn, which immediately earns you points. Each round is punctuated by a countdown that earns extra points.
At the end of two rounds, the player with the most points is crowned explorer of the year!
