Benson participated in the Crusades. He has fought in many wars. He has shed blood many times, taking lives one after the other, in his quest for what is right and true, in the service of God and the King. Benson has been fighting for so long that he doesn't remember anything else.
He hoped to be able to return home to the countryside, join his wife and children, rest for a while, but on the way he met the zombie hordes. He still has many challenges to face before he can return home and it is with honour that he will face each of them.
Zombicide: Black Plague was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the 07 July 2015, the campaign lasted 28 days. 20,915 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was $125,000.00.
