It's a Wonderful Kingdom is a stand-alone game for solo or two players in a Low-Fantasy universe. Inspired by the mechanics of its predecessor It's a Wonderful World, this new game offers more interaction, bluff and challenge. The game is played with the help of modules, each one different and offering mechanical variants. In each game, players will choose one of the different modules to compete against each other. The game is divided into 4 rounds. Each round has 3 phases.
Split: Players take turns placing their cards on the squares in the centre of the table. One player places and splits the cards, and the other player chooses a pile. The players, each in turn, will repeat this step until they have placed all the cards in their hands. In addition, each player has secret chips that can be used to place cards face down. Planning: Each player chooses, for the cards they have collected, which ones they will build and which ones they will recycle to speed up their development. Production: Each player produces the resources of his kingdom sequentially. As resources occur in a certain order, it is necessary to anticipate the sequences to optimise its production and development. At the end of the 4th round, the player with the most victory points wins the game.
