Namiji offers a gameplay similar to Tokaido's. The action spaces are placed on the game board in a linear track, with players advancing on that track to take measurements. The player who is currently last on the track takes a turn by advancing on the track to the desired action and taking that action, so players must choose to move slowly to get more turns, or travel faster to beat the other players at their desired action spaces.
Namiji was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the 29 November 2019, the campaign lasted 15 days. 9,402 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was €50,000.00. Thanks to these 9,402 people the game could be funded up to €639,781.00, ~1,279.56%.
