Darkness is descending on Dunwich. H.P. Lovecraft's troubles in New England are not limited to the town of Arkham. Nearby is Dunwich, which is prey to horrible events and forces from another world. Now, in addition to the threat of the awakening of the Great Elder, investigators will have to face the wrath of the Horror of Dunwich . The Dunwich Horror introduces new concepts to the Horror board game at Arkham, such as portal explosions, madness and injury maps, tasks and missions, and a new type of monster movement.
Dunwich Horror also contains a new Dunwich Village board, 8 new Investigators, 4 new Grand Elders, over 20 new monster markers, dozens of new items and skills, and enough encounters to double the size of the location packs. In all, this expansion adds more than 300 new maps to the base game.
