A tactical and clever placement game for 2 players. Haru lchiban in Japanese means "The first wind of spring". Two apprentice gardeners are competing for the coveted title of Imperial Gardener. They will have to demonstrate their skills and take advantage of this first spring wind to make their water lilies bloom. The emperor's happy gardener was the first to create the most harmonious combinations. As soon as a gardener creates a specific pattern with flowers of his color, he scores points. 1 point for a 2x2 square, 2 points for a horizontal or vertical line of four flowers, 3 points for a diagonal line of four flowers, and 5 points for a row of five flowers. As soon as a player has five or more points, the game ends and he wins the game!

Haru lchiban is a game with simple rules, tactical, offering many strategic possibilities.
