In the mid-nineteenth century, the first permanent settlements appeared in Montana. Many homeless workers flock to the region in search of a job and a bright future. The mountains are full of precious metals and the demand for agricultural labor is strong. The number of camps is growing rapidly and the production of resources must follow.
A game is played in several rounds, until at least one of the players has built all their encampments. In turn, you can do one of two things: recruit workers, collect resources, or build a camp.
Gather the workers and have them work at the mine, at the quarry, in the fields or in the kitchen garden. Send them money to the bank and do business in the city. Deliver resources to a region to build camps. Cleverly position your camps to gain an advantage, and keep an eye on other players who will try to cut you off. Optimize your actions to be the first to build all your camps and win the game!
Montana was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the 05 December 2017, the campaign lasted 21 days. 1,236 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was $34,000.00. Thanks to these 1,236 people the game could be funded up to $63,219.74, ~185.94%.
