Rising Sun

Taking root in the mythology of medieval Japan, Rising Sun places players at the head of the great clans, gathered by the powerful Kamis to reclaim the country and restore its traditions of honor and spirituality.

Each clan uses its unique abilities to deploy its forces in the provinces, build strongholds, harvest the land to reap the benefits, and wage a ruthless war against its adversaries. During the transition from the seasons, from spring to summer, then in the fall, players advance their clan through strategic improvements, beneficial virtues, even legendary monsters that join their cause. The veneration of deities is of paramount importance, each Kami giving his favors to the most fervent. However, diplomacy can be even more powerful: making profitable alliances and negotiating with your opponents is the surest way to victory. In this political arena, honor is more important than gold, but treason can reverse the course of the war. You will win battles not only by brute force, but also by trickery and strategy.

Choose your path with wisdom and your allies with caution. When the snow of winter covers the country, will you be chosen, chosen to rule on the land of the Rising Sun?
