Aquatica is a deep engine building game, but easy to learn about underwater realms. In the game, you will become one of the powerful kings of the ocean, fighting to bring glory to his kingdom. To win the game, you must capture and purchase locations, recruit new characters and achieve objectives; each of these actions earns you victory points at the end of the game. To do this, you must play cards from your hand (each with a unique set of actions) and combine them. Don't think it's that simple! With the right strategy during your turn, you can perform up to ten actions in a row.
You'll encounter many mysterious ocean creatures and take them into your hands. With their help, you'll explore unknown places and trace resources found in the depths of the ocean back to your kingdom. Mechanically, this is represented using a three-layer game board and a unique map-raising mechanism.
