Futuropia propels players into a utopian society with delectable benefits and lifestyles for its citizens. Unfortunately, it is not real. After all, each of us would like to work less, and robots can already do almost anything for us. This ambition is not inconceivable: it is simply about equality, justice and a fair distribution of the work done and always necessary, so that we all enjoy as much leisure as possible.
If we succeed, we will then have time to devote to our favourite activities: fishing, agriculture, fencing... but also games, construction, painting, travel, art, and many other distractions. If some people prefer to work more than necessary, they are free to do so. It's all about creative freedom. Let us reconsider a little, and we will see that unemployment is not a shame but the new goal of humanity!
We are part of a team that strives to achieve this utopian ideal by developing a self-contained condominium that works as efficiently as possible. It will therefore have to generate enough food and energy for its residents to enjoy the greatest possible freedom (and therefore free time). The less people in this community will need to work, the closer we will be to achieving our goal. The player who has best optimized his condominium will see it become a reality and win the game.
