The expansion of the world fair introduces two new mechanisms to the museum. The first new mechanism is the "pavilion", which introduces new shared objectives. The second new mechanism is "ready". Loans allow you to send an item to another player's museum, which will be beneficial to both of you. This is not available in the two-player game. The expansion of the world fair also includes three towers, events, staff and additional character cards.
Museum was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the 15 December 2017, the campaign lasted 28 days. 3,684 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was €35,000.00. Thanks to these 3,684 people the game could be funded up to €253,328.00, ~723.79%.
