Your life has just ended and you are now a ghost, floating in the air looking at your own body. Avenge your death by trying to communicate what happened to you with the paranormal detectives who came to inspect your body! Do this by creating shapes using a hanging rope, pointing letters and symbols on a communication board, drawing pictures by holding a detective's hand and many other forms of interaction.
Paranormal Detectives is a competitive deduction game where one player takes the role of a ghost and the others play the detective role by trying to be the first to discover who the victim is and how, where and why he died. Each detective receives a set of pre-constructed and asymmetric interaction cards. Detectives can ask any open-ended questions but are limited to the effects of their interaction cards to receive the answers. The interaction constraints impose on the Phantom and the detectives a lot of creativity in order to exchange clues between them.
