Root is an asymmetric adventure and war game in which players fight for control of a vast wilderness. The evil Marquise de Cat seized the great forest, with the intention of reaping its riches. Under his reign, the creatures of the forest gathered together. This Alliance will seek to strengthen itself and overthrow the cat regime.
To do this, the Alliance can call on the help of stray vagrants who are able to move along the most dangerous roads. Meanwhile, the Eyrie will try to lead their birds of prey to control the forest. Each player has unique abilities and a different victory condition. In Root, players direct the story, and the differences between each role create an unparalleled level of interaction and replayability. Explore the fantastic world of Root!
