Egizia: Shifting Sands

Life is a long, quiet river. Players travel down the Nile, placing boats as they go, to collect resources that will help them build some of Egypt's most famous monuments. With new monuments to build, new cards to collect and a constantly changing river. In this new edition, players each have the opportunity to build a new monument across the colonnade. The more columns you build, the more powers you unlock to help you on the river. Once per turn, you may be able to place boats on occupied spaces in the river or upstream, or earn an extra point each time you place bricks in the monuments. With rewards chosen randomly from game to game, the Colonnade is a dynamic new monument that shakes up traditional gameplay.

Beneath the colonnade, where the tombs once stood, are the mysterious statues - a new monument unlike anything else in Egizia. These tiny construction sites are cheaper than any other monument, but offer high reward potential if you meet their requirements. Players need to plan early as they can only place one brick in a statue per turn, and each level they build has stricter requirements for endgame bonuses.
