In Papillon, a game by J.B. Howell and illustrated by Whitney Rader, you collect tiles to build beautiful flower gardens. The tiles that make up your garden must be carefully arranged, because (only) a completed field of flowers can be used to place a butterfly to award you victory points. Bringing the tracks to your field will earn you points, while expanding your choice of new tiles.
This majority game, made of auctions to select the best tiles, tile placement and area control. The magnificent 3D flowers immediately plunge you into the spring softness of a game where aesthetic sense and playful pleasure meet.
Papillon was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the 14 June 2019, the campaign lasted 15 days. 2,003 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was $10,000.00. Thanks to these 2,003 people the game could be funded up to $116,639.00, ~1,166.39%.
