This expansion features 27 new buildings, all with new effects. Also included are 3 Guilds, 6 Leaders and 2 Wonders. 7 Wonders Cities allows up to 8 players to play simultaneously and offers a team play mode. Cities cards are black background cards and in each age there are as many Cities cards as there are players. So you play 7 cards per age instead of 6.
These cards are taken randomly from the nine of each period, so we don't know which cards are in play. If these cards have various effects, we can distinguish three major ones: peace, which allows you not to take part in war at the end of the age, the loss of money for the other players and the copying of scientific symbols to your neighbours during the final count.
Cities can be combined with the other expansion of 7 Wonders, Leaders, for even more intense games.
