The woodlouse, like the Queen, moves one square at a time. However, he can really change the course of the game: Instead of moving, he can take a piece adjacent to him and move it around him. To do this, he moves the piece up on top of him, and places it around him on a free space. He cannot move a piece that is already on top of another piece. The moved piece cannot be moved on its next turn.
