The objective: to align 4 pieces with at least one common point between them. But don't think you'll play whatever you want: it's the opponent who chooses for you!
The sixteen pieces of the game, all different, each have 4 distinct characters: high or low, round or square, light or dark, solid or hollow. Each in turn chooses and gives a piece to the opponent, who must play it on a free square. The winner is the one who, with a received piece, creates an alignment of 4 pieces with at least one common character and announces: "QUARTO!
