In Takayama, you take turns building your mountains. The smallest player starts by placing the base of the mountain (wooden plate) and then randomly flips over the first token, takes the wooden piece with the corresponding symbol and places it on the wooden base. The player is allowed to place it in any position he likes, but always on the edge! The player then turns over a second token and places the corresponding piece of wood on top of the previous one to build his mountain, and so on. The player can decide at any time to continue or stop building, sometimes it is better to stop because if a piece falls off you lose!
If he is satisfied with his mountain, he stops, measures the height and writes down the result. The next player can start, the first player to reach a total of 100cm wins the game. There are several variants for this game: team play, playing with a maximum number of turns at the beginning of the game, playing the stopwatch for each player...
