In Azul, players take turns choosing coloured tiles from the suppliers to place on their board. Later in the game, players score points based on how they placed their tiles to decorate the palace. Extra points are awarded for specific designs and for completing sets; wasted supplies hurt the player's score. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.
Azul: Master Chocolatier features double-sided factory boards, with tiles placed on these boards at the beginning of each round. One side of the factories is blank, and when this side is used, the game proceeds exactly as in Azul. The other side of each factory tile has a special effect that changes the game in some way, adding a twist to the normal game. In addition, the tiles are shaped to look like chocolates and other sweets, while remaining as inedible as the tiles in the original game.
Since its release, Azul: Maître Chocolatier has won numerous awards and has been particularly well received by players. If you don't put it down or haven't played it yet, you absolutely need it in your game library, with Azul: Maître Chocolatier, you'll have a great time with your friends, below the reward obtained by the game : 2018 (As d'Or - Jeu de l'Année).
