Last Message

A crime has just been committed! The culprit? He is hiding there, among the crowd. The detectives are on his trail. The victim can help the investigators by drawing or writing clues... But the culprit is on the prowl, intercepting the messages and deleting some of them... Will the detectives be able to identify him before the victim has delivered his last message? Last Message is an addictive and clever party game in which a victim tries to lead the investigators to the culprit, hidden in the crowd. It's a cocktail of fun, deduction, speed, observation and drawing, inviting 3 to 8 players to take on different roles, all equally exciting to play.

Be a culprit, an investigator or a victim! In Last Message, 3 to 8 players are divided into three roles. A victim. A culprit. Investigators. The crime took place in a crowd, so identifying the culprit will be particularly complex. But fortunately, the victim can still give clues to the investigators as to the identity of the culprit. With a wipe-off pen in hand, he or she can write or draw identifying information on a slate cut into 9 squares. Please note: the victim only has 30 seconds to write the message. The slate is then passed on to... the culprit. The perpetrator will then do everything to make the victim's message difficult to understand. He has the possibility to erase cells from the slate, which will make the clues more tenuous than ever! Beware: the further the game progresses, the fewer squares he can clear! The victim's messages will therefore reach the investigators in a legible way. But beware: the investigators only have 4 rounds to find the culprit!

Where is the culprit! Once the slate is in hand, the investigators must identify a specific character from among 300 others, no less. This means that they will have to scrutinise the crime scenes for every detail. If they manage to identify the culprit before the end of the fourth round, they win. If not, the culprit wins the game! Search for clues! Last Message is a game that offers particularly successful material, with 6 illustrations created by authors such as Stéphane Escapa or Vincent Dutrait... Each illustration is a pure visual delight, teeming with characters and details. The players are plunged into very different universes: fantasy, prehistory, superheroes, westerns, aliens... The illustrations are of great quality and allow for a feeling of total immersion, with many, many details that will (perhaps!) allow the victim to point the investigators in the right direction. Each illustrator has perfectly created very distinct universes, both in theme and style, and it's a real pleasure to lose oneself more and more at the heart of these ultra dense scenes.

A totally new gameplay sensation! Beyond the quality of its concept and illustrations, it is clearly the gameplay that makes Last Message an incredible pleasure to play. The fun is there whatever the role you play, and the more the game goes on, the more subtle the game becomes, as you become aware of the many possibilities to deceive the investigators... or to help them. The culprit has to choose which box to erase, the victim has to scatter his information so that there are always a few snippets left, and the investigators are under pressure to understand the victim's intentions and locate the fugitive.
