Arcimboldo and his students must each create a "work" using the magnetic composition elements, fruits, vegetables, flowers and grains. They will have to create the best interpretation of a title, composed of a word and a complement, without any time constraint, and then vote for their favourite In the Manner of Arcimboldo, inspired by the paintings of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. Players will use magnetic fruits, vegetables, grains and flowers to create works of art. Here, there is no stress of execution, just creation!
The game is played in rounds. At the beginning of a round, the Arcimboldo Master takes half a name label, then half a complement label. He combines them as he pleases, the two half-labels being on both sides. Once the combination is chosen, the Master announces the title and places it in full view. The players create works of art using the magnetic elements, fruits, vegetables, cereals and flowers. As soon as a player has finished his or her work, he or she rotates the frame board so that the other players can see it in the right direction. It is time for each player to comment on their work in a few words, starting with the Arcimboldo Master, then each player clockwise. Once everyone has commented on their work, the players vote for the one they find most convincing. No stress of execution, just creation!
