It is both a bluffing game and a board game. The goal is to eliminate all other members of the Death family by reducing their life expectancy to 0 and become the last one standing. At the beginning, each player secretly draws a Role card with a dedicated life expectancy and a starting hand of seven cards. There are two categories of cards: attacks and other effects to deal with other players' attacks.
As everyone's life gauge is secret, the only way to eliminate a player is to call out to them and say "You die! He secretly shows you his role card and the damage he has received. If you were right, he is eliminated. If you were wrong, he retaliates by giving you one of the attack cards he received.

Au Pire, Tu Meurs ! was funded on the Crowdfunding Ulule (See the campaign) platform on the Oct 29, 2020, the campaign lasted 45 days. 195 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was €14,666.00. Thanks to these 195 people the game could be funded up to €15,597.00, ~106.35%.
