In Splendor, you play as a wealthy Renaissance merchant. You will use your resources to acquire mines, transportation and craftsmen to turn raw stones into beautiful jewellery. Shuffle each deck of development cards separately and place them in a column in the centre of the table, in ascending order from bottom to top. Then reveal 4 cards from each level. Shuffle the noble tiles and reveal as many as there are players, plus one (example: 5 tiles for a 4-player game).
The other tiles are discarded from the game, they will not be used during the game. Finally, place the tokens in 6 separate piles (by colour) within reach of the players.
Since its release November 2013, Splendor has won numerous awards and has been particularly well received by players. Even if the game started a little while ago, you can still have a good time playing it, below the reward obtained by the game : 2014 (Tric Trac de Bronze).
