In Splendor, you play a rich Renaissance merchant. You will use your resources to acquire mines, means of transport and craftsmen that will allow you to transform rough stones into beautiful jewels. Shuffle each pack of Development Cards separately and then place them in a column in the center of the table, in ascending order from bottom to top. Then reveal 4 cards from each level. Shuffle the noble tiles and reveal as many as there are players, plus one (example: 5 tiles for a 4-player game).
The other tiles are discarded from the game, they will not be used during the game. Finally, place the tokens in 6 separate stacks (per colour) within reach of the players.
Since its release February 2014, Splendor has won numerous awards and has been particularly well received by players. Even if the game started a little while ago, you can still have a good time playing it, below the reward obtained by the game : 2014 (Tric Trac de Bronze).
