Fabienne Pheasant is going to the party, but there's no question of her being dressed like the other hens! The game consists of 64 cards with just one illustration, and 4 coloured counters (one red and 3 blue). For the cards, 46 represent a pheasant hen with an earthworm, and 6 a pheasant hen with 2 earthworms. The hens have 6 coloured elements: umbrella, hat, beak, scarf, tail and worm... The next 12 cards, to reach 64, represent an isolated coloured element, i.e. the beak, the umbrella, etc... At the beginning of the game, the large pieces are placed in the centre of the table, the blue pieces around the red piece. One player, the active player, takes the shuffled pack of cards and the game can begin.
The active player, the one holding the pack of cards face down in his hands, will slowly turn over the cards one by one and... As soon as a card with a chicken and 2 worms is turned over, the players must tap the table. The fastest player collects all the cards that have been turned over so far. If an element (beak, umbrella, etc.) appears twice in the same colour, the first player to call out the name of the element collects all the cards that have been turned over so far. If several elements are of the same colour, each player who picks up a blue counter receives a card from the table. If two cards are the same, the first player to catch the red piece collects all the cards that have been turned over so far.
Of course, if you react wrongly, you have to return one of the cards you picked up... Whoever has picked up cards becomes the one who returns them... The game ends when there are no more cards to return. The player who has picked up the most cards, thanks to his or her justified reactions, is declared the "Grand Winner"!
