With Carambouille, you can enjoy the lively and friendly atmosphere of the markets in the south of France! At the beginning of the game, the first merchant launches the auction. All the players then start announcing at the same time the products they are looking for and those they are ready to give up in exchange. But suddenly, completely arbitrarily, the first merchant ends the auction (usually when he has got what he wants but sometimes also because he has not been heard...).

Players can then sell certain products and buy Caramboo cards, which will give them different advantages or penalize their opponents. The players' hands are completed, and it's back to one round! The richest merchant wins.
