In In Extremis you have to find words as quickly as possible. It is a game of speed and observation. Having a broad vocabulary will also be of great help. The game consists of cards with a red letter (on the front) and a green letter (on the back). To start the game, each player receives the same number of cards.
To start a round a card is placed on the game board on its green side, then players simultaneously place a card from their deck at random. The first card gives the letter with which the word should begin. For other letters, if they are red, the word must not contain these letters, if they are green, the word must contain these letters. The first player to find a word that matches the criteria wins the round.
Be careful, when a red letter and an identical green letter are placed in the same run, it is no longer a question of finding a word but of typing in the center of the table first.
