This extension of settlers, the card game, is based on the university. Note that this card is available face up for each of the players at the beginning of the game. The university once built then allows to play: actions giving a good reserve of resources: printing (2 to choose), triennial crop (3 wheat) or inventor (3 stones) of the cannon units considerably increasing the strength of the player at lower cost (and to obtain the chivalry pioneer) buildings like the academy of commerce (gold reserves become points of market power) or crane site (reducing the cost of construction of city developments).
But other buildings also have outbuildings, such as Legation (to see the cards taken by the opponent) or Maison du peuple (to choose your cards for free), which can only be built if the town hall is in place.
