Players, powerful wizards, seek to make magic potions using various ingredients (green grass, snake venom or wolf blood). To get them, they need different magic allies. At the beginning of each game turn, players will choose five "Allied" cards from the 12 they have in their hands. The first player then chooses one and announces "I am the... drag the name of the character played". Basically, it proposes to carry out the action of this ally such as searching for ingredients.
In the order of the turn, the other players will counter it if they have played the same card. The next one, if he has chosen the card, reveals it and then chooses one of two possible actions. He can first announce "I am..." and take the place of his opponent. But he himself can be countered by another player... Otherwise, he can announce "So be it" and then enjoy only a reduced action. For example, Serpentine normally brings back three drops of snake venom. By choosing "so be it", a player only recovers one drop. But this action is not contradicted by another player!
There are three characters who collect resources, red, green and white and three others who make potions, druid, witch and magician. The other six allow gold to be used to transform it into ingredients - and vice versa - or into small potions (which also earn victory points). Two others will go and steal gold or ingredients from the little comrades' reserves. Finally, the master wizard creates magical formulas, special cards that make it possible to carry out a particular action.
In each round, there will be a certain number of possible choices depending on the potions to be made, the points to be recovered with gold... Then, it is up to each player to choose which characters will be necessary, which will only be used to give the hand back to an opponent because the player who opens with a card cannot be satisfied with "So be it". He must necessarily opt for the "I am..." and therefore risk being countered. Taking control is therefore dangerous but essential...
The game ends when four crows have appeared, knowing that there are two per type of potion. The player who then accumulates the most victory points wins.
