In Cartecassonne, in turn, you will have to choose between laying a card or placing your partisan pawn on a series of cards already laid, cities, fields, roads or abbeys. More precisely, there are four colours of maps representing city maps, abbey maps, etc. In each color, there are three types of cards, Character, Building and Animals, each with a different counting system. In turn, a player can place a card. In this case, he must play it in the right row. Except for his first card of the round, which you have to play face down. This allows it to be placed in any row, a little bluff never hurts.
Rather than placing a card, the player can place his supporter in order to claim the cards played previously. The later it is played, the more it can pay. A round ends when the players have placed all their hands of cards and their supporters. A countdown then takes place. The characters report the sum of their value multiplied by their number. Animals, by type, score points according to a geometric progression. Buildings must be grouped into series and only pay at the end of the game. Face-down cards can earn points immediately or be incorporated into a series, as desired. The number of rounds depends on the number of players, for example, six rounds with four players.
You must therefore manage your cards on the game, think of the cards that scorch on a sleeve (characters), those that do so throughout the game (animals) or only at the end (buildings). The cards face down bring a hint of bluff and surprise.
