In Boomerang, the players, aboriginal hunters will go hunting. Whoever can best bet their boomerangs and use them wisely to capture animals will win the game. Players will try to collect as many cards representing six types of animals as possible. These are the bugs that will have to be hunted in one of the five hunting territories where they can be found. As shown in the illustration below, each one goes to two different territories, even within the same species, shown at the top and bottom. At the end of the game, only the player who has the majority of cards of the same species will score as many points as he or she has cards. The others will get nothing.

At the beginning of a round, turn over cards until all five territories appear. Depending on the nature and number of cards then present, players will then secretly choose which territory they will go hunting in. To do so, they will have to consider the type of animals they are interested in, those that others covet, the territories common to several animals, those that others should leave, whether it will be possible to hold the bet for a long time and hope to choose the first one or quickly withdraw and pick a small card. Then you're going to have to manage your stock of boomerangs. Each player in turn will have to bet one in turn. The player who holds out the longest will have the privilege of catching animals first. Each time a player cracks, he gets back the boomerangs already bet and puts down his token (the one where he chose his hunting spot). Until there is only one left who then has the privilege of hunting first. He then reveals his token and collects all the bugs on which the territory is marked.

In the above example, by playing water, he recovers a fish and an armadillo. The second player then takes what's left according to his marker. If he had played the water, he has nothing. If he had bet on the forest, he gets the other two cards. If he had bet on the weeds, he would have gotten a single gallinaceous. The game goes on like this until all the cards have been turned over and won by the players.
