The Convoy is inexorably advancing towards New York. The Molochs decided: the city must be razed to the ground. This will put an end to human resistance and destroy the Outpost's efforts. The robotic army is marching eastward. It sows ruin and desolation in its path. Everything she meets is destroyed. Day after day the horizon is covered with new columns of smoke. The annihilation of New York is approaching... Unless... Unless a handful of Outpost soldiers can stop the Convoy...
Convoy is a card game with a strong theme and asymmetrical mechanics for two players, set in the post-apocalyptic universe of Neuroshima (Neuroshima Hex!, 51st State...). In this ruined world, humanity is struggling for survival against an army of machines. One of the players leads an army of Moloch machines destroying all the Cities in their path. Their objective: to reach New York and reduce it to ashes! The other player leads the units of the brave Outpost soldiers. They will not stop harassing the Moloch Robots during their journey to the final battle to prevent the destruction of New York!
Each player has his own deck of cards that he will have to place on the different districts through which the convoy passes to prepare for the final battle. The overpowered Moloch army has improvement modules but is slow. Outpost troops, weaker in combat, are extremely mobile, and thus move from battlefield to battlefield to better surprise the opponent. The part is structured around a series of cities composed of districts, each of which is the scene of a merciless war. At the end of each fight, one of the players gains an advantage that allows him to better prepare the rest of the game.
The game ends after the final battle in New York or when the Moloch player's deck of cards is exhausted, which means he has lost too much time and units in previous battles. Each side has its share of twists and turns and each side requires a completely different approach and strategy.
