Gobb'it is a short game where the last player to have cards wins the round. To win, you'll need to use your observation and reflexes to protect your cards and swallow those of others. The cards have 4 animals on them, in 3 different colors. The animals eat each other by color and according to a specific food chain (the chameleon eats the snake, the snake eats the chameleon, the gorilla kills the other 3).
All the cards are distributed equally at the beginning of the game, each player then has his personal deck, which are the cards he owns but which are not in play. In turn, the players turn over the card at the top of their personal deck in front of them, thus covering (if there was already one), the card they had previously put down, the pile that a player forms in this way constitutes his personal discard pile.
4 rules to know in order to play. When the animal that you have placed in front of you is the predator of the animal that another player has placed in front of him, and the animals are of the same color, the players concerned (predators and prey) shoot down their hand on the prey, the fastest player wins the card and all the cards it covered (i.e. the personal discard pile on top of which the prey was placed), and then integrates them into his personal draw pile. In the event of a foul, the player who committed the foul puts his personal discard pile in the graveyard (the pile of face-down cards in the center of the table); players can never recover these cards. When a Gorilla attacks, the cards are not absorbed but also sent to the graveyard.
Gobb'it! If at least one Mouchtik of each color is visible on the players' personal discards, all players must take their hand to the graveyard by shouting Gobb'it! Players who have no cards left at all become knocking spirits, knocking on identical cards to send them to the graveyard and thus speeding up the game and reducing the winner's point count. In short, Gobb'it is a party game with simple rules, but which will require a lot of concentration and good reflexes to manage the different conflict situations, the different mistakes and actions will often trigger hilarity and your competitiveness will push you to play again and again.
