Relegated to the rank of a mere legend by the youngest inhabitants of the City of the Lake, Smaug the Dragon descends from the Solitaire Mountain at the height of the night, when no one expected it. He is convinced that the inhabitants of the village are responsible for the theft of which he was recently victim, even though they are not aware of this incident. All they know is that if they don't stop him, Smaug will destroy their homes. The heroes will therefore have to face the Dragon's wrath to save the City of the Lake from the flames...
