Take a seat next to Jules Verne's most famous character! It's time for Captain Nemo to decide who will become the first officer of the Nautilus. Be ready to face the depths of the sea while you illustrate yourself in the five great areas dear to the Captain. Over the course of the six rounds of the game, arrange your divers to take the lead in Science, Exploration, Navigation, Engineering and Warfare. The player who wins in the most areas will be declared the winner at the end of the game.
In each round, five Domain cards are drawn and placed on the game board. Players then receive five Diving cards with values from 1 to 14. At the end of the round, the values of the Diving cards on either side of the Nautilus will determine the allocation of the Domain cards in play. A player will receive a Domain card when the value of the Diving card on his or her side is higher than the value of the Diving card on the opposite side. In addition, special cards will punctuate the game by granting special powers to players.
At the end of the game, the player with the most points in a Domain wins that Domain. The player who wins the most domains will be declared the winner and will be worthy of being appointed as the second officer of the Nautilus. In Nautilus, Intuition and Strategy will be your weapons in this head-to-head battle, where only the winner will be able to sit alongside Captain Nemo. Nautilus is a game that is simple to learn, but with practice you will discover its intrinsic subtleties.
