Yet, despite all the dazzlement and charm, your mind is elsewhere: an assassin wanders through the assembly, a vial of poison in his pocket and an eye on the throne. Suddenly, the duchess stands by your side. She was once a friend of the Crown, but her position is now uncertain. As she babbles and sips her cup, a menacing gleam crosses her eyes. Is it just your imagination, or does it feed some treachery in her bosom?
The Last Banquet is an atmospheric game for 6 to 25 players, which takes them back to the days of the noble quarrelsome, the clever courtiers and the great intrigues of the king's court. In the different scenarios, players assume the roles of court members and servants, and try to achieve the objectives of the scenario, such as placing an assassin near his victim or sending a messenger near his recipient. Each role gives players the opportunity to change the seating plan, turn order and many other aspects of the game.
