Hear ye! Hear ye! Ladies and beautiful damsels! With this first stone laid, we, the Great Powers of all things, begin to build the city. May it grow and embellish to become the most famous of the cities built: an all-powerful Citadel whose majestic splendour will be inscribed in gold letters on the pediment of the legendary cities!
In Citadelles, each player must build a city using maps representing neighbourhoods in the city. In each round, players must play a character with special powers. The winner will be the one whose ambition, fortune and deceit have made it possible to build the most beautiful city.
