Matryoshka, the famous Russian dolls, have a cult following among collectors, and this big swap meet is the perfect opportunity to walk away with the best collection. Can you be the most skilful negotiator? In the Matryoshka card game, players will try to build up sets of colours or values in an array, in 4 rounds of 3 phases.
In these rounds, they will first draw, exchange cards with other players (you cannot exchange cards already in your tableau) and then, in each round, reconstitute a tableau by taking the previous one in hand and making a new one. The board must contain more and more Matryoshkas as the game progresses.
At the end of the game, players score points for each column of at least two cards (values) and for rows containing at least two consecutive cards (suits), with a bonus if they manage to align more than five cards. You will have to be cunning, bluff, give false information about your game, and manage to be discreet enough about your real collection to win!

Matryoshka was funded on the Crowdfunding Kickstarter (See the campaign) platform on the Apr 18, 2017, the campaign lasted 14 days. 526 people helped funded the game, whose the amount requested was $6,500.00. Thanks to these 526 people the game could be funded up to $9,550.00, ~146.92%.
