This new version of Battle Line is a version of the two-player strategy card game, on the theme of medieval warfare. Re-themed, Battle Line features 60 beautiful cards designed by Roland MacDonald, as well as 10 tactical cards that give players additional flexibility and choices that make each new battle very different from the previous one.
To win, you must create powerful formations on your side of the battle line that are superior to those of your enemy. Victory goes to the player who wins 5 of the 9 battle flags (one wrap) or three adjacent flags (one breakthrough). Based on Reiner Knizia's original design published as Shotten-Totten, Battle Line improves and expands this game system to give players even more tactical options and difficult decisions.
Battle Line puts you in control of your army's strategies. How will you put your formations together? You and your opponent control the combined arms of the greatest units of the age!
Contents of the box : 1 rule book, 60 Troop cards, values 1 to 10 in 6 suits, 10 Tactical cards (white, different backs of cards), 9 Battlefield cards, 2 Play Aid cards, 1 Terrain extension card.
