Jurassic Parts is a collection of collectible tiles and small box enclosures featuring dinosaur fossils! The game is designed by Kevin Lanzing (Flash Point Fire Rescue) and illustrated by Andrew Bosley (Everdell, Everdell: Pearlbrook, Tapestry, and The River). Here it is! Your first field mission! More than a dozen dinosaur fossils are buried in a huge slab of rock. Time and the relentless forces of geology have mixed up the bodies, but it's a small problem for your team. For now, sharpen your scissors and get that hammer ready! It's time to break down and free the precious fossils from their rocky grave. For the sake of science (and your own reputation), make sure you get the biggest and best fossils!
Players will take turns placing their sharp scissors in lines around the hexagonal tiles, which are arranged in a single tile. Once a section of the tile is separated from the rest of the hexagonal rock tiles, it is distributed among the players who contributed to the separation. The broken tiles are assembled by the players who have gathered them into various dinosaur fossils, with varying point values. Once all the tiles have been assembled by the players, the totals of all the completed fossils are added together and the highest score wins!
