Who will be able to collect the cards with the highest number of points during the three rounds of the game? Will the die be on your side? Jinx is played in three rounds. At the beginning of each round, draw 16 cards and place them face up; the cards come in eight suits, and each suit has cards numbered 1 to 6. During a round, you roll the dice, and then you can possibly roll it again. After the first or second throw, you pick up a card from the table that matches the number on the die. If you cannot pick up a card, the round ends and if the colour of a card in front of you is present among the cards turned over, then you lose that card. You can even lose everything, depending on how unlucky you are!
Players who have lost a card receive a random bonus card for all remaining rounds. These cards have different powers, such as adding or subtracting 1 to the die roll, rolling the die a third time and choosing a card numbered 4-6 instead of rolling the die. Cards that are safe in one round may be lost in a subsequent round, so it is ideal to roll the die well or use bonus cards to eliminate troublesome colours. At the end of the three rounds, the players add up the cards in front of them, and the one with the highest score wins.
