You arrive in the valley with just a few coins in your pocket. It is so rich in resources that you don't know where to start! Will this grain provide your bread, or feed your cow? Beyond the wheat field, you can already see your mill turning in the wind. From Little Town to Little Factory... Find the DNA of the "Little Town" universe in a clever and refined card game, designed by the same authors. Little Factory shares the same philosophy as Little Town: to appropriate a game mechanic and refine it as much as possible in order to make it more accessible without sacrificing its depth. Thus, Little Factory is based on an engine-building mechanic that will suit beginners as well as the most fierce competitors.
It's up to you to produce, sell, trade, block your opponents, and collect valuable influence points! A game of Little Factory starts with a few coins, which players can trade for their first resources. These resources are arranged in 3 levels, which become increasingly complex to obtain. The goal is to progress as quickly as possible through the resources in the different levels in order to be able to build buildings, which will make your job easier, as well as earning you valuable victory points. The first player to reach 10 points wins the game. In Little Factory, players must perform one action per turn: Produce or Trade. Producing means using a resource to obtain a new, more valuable one. Do you need that spool of yarn? Then you have to discard a cotton card or show that you have a sheep. What about your cow? Will you discard it for its meat or keep it for its milk?
Trading means discarding cards for their monetary value in order to buy one or more cards during the turn. Trading allows you to obtain crucial resources that would otherwise be unavailable to you, but also to quickly reorient your strategy if the resources you covet are no longer available. With a mechanic that is in total synergy with its theme, Little Factory allows for a particularly intuitive approach to engine-building and fierce competition. Little Town players will quickly find their bearings in a familiar universe that they particularly appreciate, enhanced by Sabrina Miramon's illustrations. Who will be the first player to complete their buildings and gain enough influence to claim victory?
