Objection! is an asymmetrical two-player card game that lets you participate in a trial in the American justice system: one player plays the noble Prosecution and the other the unwavering Defence. Each game begins with the Investigation phase, during which players select key evidence to support their case and bury evidence that might help their opponent. Then comes the Trial phase, during which players call witnesses to the stand, develop powerful arguments, and test them against the patiently examined evidence. To form a coherent interrogation, players will need to string together their cards by matching Prejudice symbols.
The player who best questions the witness will generate the most Influence that can be spent to sway the Jury to their side. Each game is different, with each Case bringing specific mechanics, but the lawyer with the best case and the most convincing arguments will be sure to get the verdict he or she seeks!
