Vabanque is an expression of an 18th century card and money game called Pharaoh's, where the player takes the risk of winning or losing everything. The goal in Vabanque is to have the most money at the end of the game. This can be achieved by taking risks to win big money at the casino tables, playing cautiously to accumulate smaller sums, or taking money from your opponents by setting traps for them.
