Sometimes, to really appreciate a story, you have to go back to the beginning first. Great adventures and strong friendships are important and wonderful, but the first step of a journey is just as important as the last. With that in mind, it's time to return to the beginning of one of the most epic adventures ever... With increased content and some quality of life improvements, this new version of the classic LCG base game is the perfect opportunity for a new player to dive into the game.
The revised base game includes cards to enable Campaign Mode (the previous base game was strictly stand-alone scenarios), entirely new Honor and Burden mechanics that add cards that persist with players from scenario to scenario, and full 4-player support in the base box.
