Part of Doodle Islands is played in several rounds. At each turn, the players draw a portion of road or a cross, in a box of their sheet representing a nautical chart. They try to win as many gold coins as possible through Archipeles, Treasure Island, Monsters, Ships or Breakers. At the end of the game, the player with the most gold coins is designated King or Queen of the Pirates and wins the game.
