Explore locations, combine objects and live stories in Adventure Games, a series of cooperative games from German publisher KOSMOS. In each of these titles, players are confronted with a mysterious story that they must unravel over the course of the game. Working together, players explore common areas, talk to people, search for clues and combine various objects to reveal the secret of the story. Depending on the decisions made by the players, the course of the story changes and there is no turning back!
Unlike the cooperative game series EXIT: The Game, the titles in this series focus on storytelling and discovery, without time pressure. That said, many different paths can be taken during the course of the game, and more than one correct story resolution awaits discovery. Each title consists of three chapters, each taking about 75 minutes to play. Nothing is destroyed, so the games can be played multiple times. In Adventure Games: Shivers at the Abaddon Hotel, you want to find out what strange happenings are taking place in the old building, slipping into your role as part of the team to follow leads and decide how the adventure game will play out.
