Nephilim: Arcane Majeur 00 - Le Mat

There are 3 Paths that allow the Nephilim to reach the Agartha: Sorcery, Kabbalah and Alchemy. Akhenaten described 22 ways to travel one of these long paths strewn with pitfalls: the Major Arcana (which the layman knows in the form of the Tarot de Marseille). Each of these Arcana is a grouping of Nephilim believing in the same conception of the universe, the same philosophy, the same art of living. Each Arcanum has a Prince, customs and habits, its own lexicon and its own occult goals. Although some Arcana have very opposite theoretical conceptions, these 22 Blades, which are the occult heritage of Akhenaten, constitute the foundations of the Nephilim society.

Each codex is therefore written to address the players in order to allow them to understand the spirit of the Arcanum in 32 pages and to facilitate the interpretation of their character. They do not all have the same level of playability for the PJs, as some Arcana have principles and ideals that are quite incompatible with the kind of Nephilim that players traditionally embody.
