The halfelings are an insignificant people of the Warhammer world. All too often discredited, these little bedridden beings with hairy feet are now the subject of a full supplement, which, like the rest of the Grimoire's releases, has not been approved by Games Workshop. The halfelings are therefore small humanoids that are not without evoking Tolkien's hobbits, or the nelwin from the film Willow. The similarity is moreover cultivated throughout the supplement, with illustrations or allusions to these two works. Living peacefully in the imperial province known as the Mootland, the more adventurous among them sometimes go off to open an inn elsewhere in the Empire, or more rarely, simply go on an adventure. The halfelings are usually people without history, showing an astonishing stability, and an even more astonishing resistance to the corrupting work of chaos.
